Government building NHS 'back to where we want it to be', says Health Secretary
The Government is building the NHS “back to where we want it to be”, Health Secretary Steve Barclay has said while making a statement in the Commons on the Urgent and Emergency Care Recovery Plan. Shadow health secretary Wes Streeting says the Government’s emergency care recovery plan is “setting the NHS up to fail right from the start” and branded it a “plan for managed decline”.
