"Omar m'a tuer": 30 years later, Omar Raddad's fight to prove his innocence is relaunched

The Moroccan gardener Omar Raddad, convicted of the 1991 murder of Ghislaine Marchal in Mougins, has regained hope of obtaining a review of his trial, thanks to the dizzying progress of DNA evidence, after a first stinging refusal by the courts in 2002. The defense of the gardener, designated as guilty by the famous inscription "Omar has killed me" drawn in the blood of the victim, will file a request for review of his conviction on Thursday.
