Tory MP William Wragg accuses Government of ‘blackmailing’ Boris Johnson rebels
The Tory civil war over “Partygate” exploded on Thursday with a senior MP suggesting the Government is trying to “blackmail” rebels into supporting Boris Johnson.William Wragg, the chairman of the Commons Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee, claimed MPs were being threatened with having funding for their constituencies withdrawn if they called for the Prime Minister to quit.
