Stunned staff at a store in Afflecks Palace believe they are "working with a ghost" after a spooky sighting.

"Creepy" CCTV captured the moment a plant plot flew off a shelf on its own at the Sour Cherry jewellery shop.

Staff claim an "invisible figure" can be seen lurking in the background and it's the latest in a long list of "paranormal" activity at the city centre store.

Workers opened up the shop yesterday morning (November 2) to find the ceramic pot smashed all over the floor.

When they then checked the footage from the recently fitted CCTV cameras, they were shocked at what they saw.

Anastazja Romamow, 30, told the Manchester Evening News : "More and more things have been happening and we can't describe it.

"We have been making jokes about it recently, saying we are working with a ghost.

"We recently fitted cameras in the shop which run 24 hours, and yesterday when we opened up, there was the plant pot smashed all over.

"The CCTV footage captured it all. When you look at the top left camera, you can even see an invisible figure moving around after the plant pot fell.

"It is so creepy."

Manager Kayleigh previously said she felt someone tap her on the shoulder when working with the laser cutting machine.

And another member of staff says she had her hair pulled when alone in the stock room.

The Sour Cherry store shared the creepy footage to its Instagram and TIkTok pages yesterday.

She also said that mediums have visited the Afflecks Palace store previously and that a member of staff from another shop claimed they had been 'pushed by something'.

A cloudy white figure can also be seen moving across the shot in the top left recording.

Anastazja added: "We are just all laughing about it. We would be more concerned if it was violent towards us.

"Honestly, we just couldn't believe our eyes.

"Now we have the cameras fitted, we will definitely be keeping an eye out."

The Instagram clip shared to the Sour Cherry page has had over 4,000 views since yesterday.
