In just a matter of weeks Apple could unveil the launch date and details of the new iPhone 14. The latest rumours are coming thick and fast in the tech industry as Apple fans predict what could possibly come next.

While there hasn't been an official update from Apple as of yet, the tech giant usually holds an annual conference in September where they announce the latest models and products to come onto the market, and some fans are predicting that the iPhone 14 launch could go live on September 16.

What's got people talking recently though are the rumours over possible colours. The Apple iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini come in six colours, starlight, midnight, blue, pink, and the all-new green. Many iPhone users are now wondering whether Apple will use the same colour palette once again for the iPhone 14 or change it up and go with something completely different.

Twitter user Jjoriku has been 'leaking' what colours they believe will be released from Apple. The journalist is described as an 'Apple leaker' on Twitter and their predictions and 'leaks' have been proven correct in the past.

They said they believe the iPhone 14 will come in six colours, green, purple, blue, black, white and red - with purple replacing pink. They also suggested green, purple, silver, gold and graphite for the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max - with purple taking the place of sierra blue.

If true it will be the first time a Pro iPhone would be purple and since the leaker made their claims a number of images have appeared online that seek to show exactly what the new iPhones will look like. It's not clear if purple will definitely be on the list of Apple colours but the shade is definitely taking social media by storm.
