Central London stores mostly closed for lockdown Black Friday

Shops and department stores in central London were mostly closed on Black Friday (27 November), typically a busy day in retail. While Black Friday is an American invention, it has become increasingly popular as a discount shopping day in the UK in recent years. But with the UK still under lockdown, 'non-essential' retail outlets remain closed, including such well-known names as John Lewis, House Of Fraser and Selfridges.
