By Laura Lupton Slide 1 of 21

As William and Kate continue their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand, we look back at what Princes Di wore on her trips to Oz

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's royal tour of New Zealand and Australia rolled into its second week today and, unsurprisingly, all eyes have been eagerly watching the clothes to emerge from Kate's suitcase. So far, the Duchess has been flying the flag in style, wearing outfits by the likes of Emelia Wickstead, Erdem and Jonathan Saunders - all UK-based designers. But Kate isn't the first wife of a prince to head Down Under: William's mother, Princes Diana, made three trips to Australia during her time as a royal - twice with Prince Charles in the Eighties, and a final time in 1996, a year before her untimely death. And she also did it in style...Click through the images above to see what Di wore Down Under - and be sure to check back over the coming week to see just what else Kate threw into her royal suitcase.
