Johnson apologises for handling of Pincher row as top ministers resign

Just before the resignation of two of his top cabinet ministers, Boris Johnson admitted that “it was a mistake” to give scandal-hit former deputy chief whip Chris Pincher his government role and apologised for doing so. Shortly after the interview, Rishi Sunak quit as chancellor and Sajid Javid resigned as health secretary.
