Man builds giant Halloween pirate ship in his front garden

Andrew Carvel has built a giant Halloween pirate ship named the "Elizabeth Dane" using scrap wood in the garden of his home in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The ship measures nine metres long and is adorned with pirate flags, skeletons and bloodied sails, and took Mr Carvel a few weeks to construct. Mr Carvel asks visitors to his creation to make donations to local charity the Tamworth Pantry which helps those in need with food and household supplies.
