Single mother pleads with PM to help families as cost of living hits near 30-year high
A single mother has recorded a video outlining the challenges she is facing as the cost of living hits its highest level in nearly 30 years. Gemma Widdowfield, 36, from near Luton in Bedfordshire, called on the Government to cut VAT to help low-income households with energy costs. Ms Widdowfield made the video for the Save The Children charity.
