Sunak indicates support will continue but does not rule out tax rises
Chancellor Rishi Sunak said he does not “recognise” suggestions he told MPs in private that he would raise taxes now before cutting them in a pre-election Budget, but he did not rule out the possibility. He said he wants to "support people and businesses through the remaining stages of this crisis".
