Giancarlo Esposito Interview Better Call Saul, Godfather of Harlem, Creepshow

Giancarlo Esposito Interview Better Call Saul, Godfather of Harlem, Creepshow With director Michael Berry’s original pop musical film Stuck now playing in limited release around the country, I recently sat down with Giancarlo Esposito to talk about the film. If you aren’t familiar with Stuck, the film was written by Berry and Riley Thomas and it’s about six commuters who get stuck together on a New York City subway. Through the power of music, they learn about each other's lives and, in turn, have a profound effect on one another. Stuck also stars Amy Madigan, Ashanti, Arden Cho, Omar Chaparro, and Gerard Canonico. After we finished talking about Stuck, we dove into the many other projects Esposito is working on like the Epix series The Godfather of Harlem, Better Call Saul (including when he thinks the series might end), Creepshow with Greg Nicotero, and we even reminisced about his working with Spike Lee on School Daze. Check out what he had to say in the player above and below is a list of exactly what we talked about. Giancarlo Esposito: Did he know when he worked with Spike Lee early in his career did he know he was going to be such a talent directed? Shares a great story about rewriting some of the dialogue on School Daze with Laurence Fishburne during a lunch break and Lee’s reaction. What’s The Godfather of Harlem about? What is it like working with Vince Gilligan on Better Call Saul? How they just started filming Better Call Saul season 5 and how it will air new episodes in 2020. How TV has changed. Is Better Call Saul season 5 the last one? Does he know how Better Call Saul will end? What he hopes will happen with his character over the next season or two. What can he say about Creepshow and working with Greg Nicotero?
