© Reuters The Brexit Party will fight every seat in England, Scotland and Wales in the 12 December general election unless prime minister Boris Johnson tears up his deal with Brussels, leader Nigel Farage has announced.

If the PM doesn’t agree to a “Leave alliance”, Mr Farage said there were 500 candidates ready to stand across Britain. Polling guru John Curtice said it was likely The Brexit Party would harm the Tories more than Labour if candidates were fielded across the country.

It follows Donald Trump’s interview with Mr Farage during which he urged Mr Johnson to team up with the Brexit Party leader and become an “unstoppable force”. The president also criticised the PM’s Brexit agreement, claiming it could hinder a potential trade deal with the US.
