Reign in Spain: "Spanish people have compartementalized what Juan Carlos has meant for the country"
As the former Spanish king returns home from a self-imposed two-year exile, FRANCE 24 is joined by Dr. Carlos Conde Solares, Senior Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at Northumbria University. "As a king, I think it's very clear that there are several stages to his very long tenure, his very long reign," explains Dr. Solares.
