Nicky Morgan defends Parliament prorogation

Nicky Morgan has defended Boris Johnson's decision to prorogue Parliament until mid-October, saying: "We need a vigorous domestic agenda, and we need a Queen's speech to make that happen". The culture secretary was in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday as the government announced a £95 million heritage boost to revive historic high streets in 69 towns across England.
