Fossilised ivory found in China

An ancient ivory fossil from at least a million years ago has been discovered by a worker on a construction site in central China. The video, filmed in Shangqiu City in Henan Province on March 29, shows construction workers digging out a three-metre-long piece of ancient ivory, buried around five metres‘ deep beneath the sand and mud. The ivory has been delivered to the local museum and stored in a specific sealed bag until experts can authenticate it.
