McDonnell: 'No one can be pleased with GDP figures'

John McDonnell has said the Gross Domestic Product statistics released by the Office for National Statistics today are "worrying". The figures showed GDP increased by 0.3% between July and September, which Mr McDonnell called "the slowest growth in a decade". The Shadow Chancellor added that "no one can be pleased with these figures" before voicing his "worries about what Labour will inherit when they go into government".
