Nigerian activists fight against female genital mutilation

Nigerian activists have intensified their advocacy and campaign against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The practice which has been outlawed in the country is still prevalent in some communities. Activists say victims live with trauma and health complications for the rest of their lives as they push for better protection for girls subjected to the practice.
