US Probe Finds No Wrongdoing in 2019 Syrian Airstrike, Despite Civilian Casualties
BBC reports that a United States military investigation found no violation concerning a 2019 airstrike in Syria that killed dozens of people. The investigation was launched after a 'New York Times' report accused the military of covering up the attack. The Pentagon's investigation into the March 18 airstrike in the eastern Syrian town of Baghuz was led by General Michael Garrett.
