The People's Republic of China is preparing for Donald Trump's "final act of madness" before he leaves office, according to the communist government's state-controlled newspaper. The Global Times reports that Beijing expects Trump to plant a "landmine" for Joe Biden by signing executive orders that, if reversed, would make the incoming president soft on China.

While Trump himself has kept his comments to Twitter, his closest representatives have been busy carrying the torch. Coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas encouraged older Americans to join family for Thanksgiving celebrations as it could be their last.
Rudy Giuliani, meanwhile, denied asking for a $20,000 per day legal fee to represent the president in contesting the results of the election.
That would have been a lot to pay for a legal campaign that continues to stumble before the courts, with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturning the one small win the campaign had. The court ruled Philadelphia did not violate state election law when it restricted how close poll observers could stand to the processing of votes.
