Resurgent Manchester United have been tipped as a potential contender to sign Leicester City's Youri Tielemans if the Foxes receive a panic bid before the transfer deadline.

Leicester City receive 'concrete offer' for James Maddison transfer

Leicester City have reportedly received a 'concrete bid' from an unnamed club for James Maddison ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.

The England international has been linked with a big-money move to Newcastle in recent months, but City have so far resisted their offers. The Magpies saw two offers for the midfielder rejected in the summer.

Maddison extended his stay at the King Power Stadium in 2020, and his contract is set to run to 2024. But with little sign of penning a new deal, speculation over his future continues.

Leicester City set to complete transfer as contract details emerge

Leicester City are closing in on their next January transfer - the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete, it is reported.

The Brazilian winger has been a target for the Foxes, as strengthening that area on the pitch is a priority this month. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano earlier reported City were in 'advanced talks' to sign Tete.

The 22-year-old has been on loan at Lyon since March last year. Despite uncertainty over whether a transfer would materialise due to the conflict in Ukraine, he is now set to fly into England for a medical on Saturday and his contract will run until the middle of the year, according to John Percy.

Leicester City are reportedly interested in Rangers ace Ryan Kent as Brendan Rodgers intensifies his search for a winger.

The Foxes are keen to bolster their wide options and have reportedly seen a bid rejected for Fiorentina ace Nicolas Gonzalez. 90min claim that Kent is also being considered ahead of the deadline with Rodgers having worked with the player before at Liverpool back in 2015.

Kent is out of contract in the summer and would be available for a knockdown price if Leicester decide to make their move. Rangers have to decide whether to cash-in now or risk losing Kent for nothing at the end of the season.

Ademola Lookman has opened up on his decision to join Atalanta following his loan stint at Leicester City.

The 25-year-old joined City in August 2021 and went on to make 42 appearances for Brendan Rodgers but, ultimately, the club missed out on the opportunity to sign him permanently. Lookman joined Atalanta the following summer.

Leicester City suffer transfer blow after World Cup star completes €10m move

Leicester City-linked Azzedine Ounahi is set to complete a move to Olympique Marseille from Angers, it is reported.

The Morocco midfielder was the subject of transfer interest from several clubs this month after catching the eye in the World Cup in Qatar. He was a standout player as he helped his nation reach the semi-finals of the competition.

While reports claimed City offered the French side €20 million, plus a further €10m upon Champions League qualification, Angers were said to be looking for a higher fee for their player. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Marseille are set to pay a fee of €8m plus €2m in add ons for Ounahi's services.

Tottenham admit Djed Spence in 'not easy' situation amid Leicester City transfer link

Tottenham are reluctant to include an option-to-buy clause in Djed Spence's deal as he is set to depart on loan in the coming days, amid Leicester City's interest.

The 22-year-old is expected to leave on loan until the end of the season before Tuesday's deadline. Yet to make his full debut for Spurs, Spence is behind Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal in the pecking order.

While Spence is not short of potential suitors, Spurs are reluctant to include an option-to-buy clause in his deal. Tottenham's assistant manager Cristian Stellini has explained the player's lack of opportunities at the club. "Being consistent without playing so many times is not easy but being consistent in the training is really important for a type of player like Djed," Stellini said.
