Andy Carroll volleyed in a dramatic late equaliser to leave Stoke City five points adrift of safety with only four games left to play. Peter Crouch sent the away fans into wild celebrations when he smashed home from close range after Joe Hart spilled Xherdan Shaqiri's shot. West Ham had already had two goals disallowed for offside and the game looked to be heading for a frustrating evening for the Hammers, before substitute Andy Carroll volleyed home Aaron Cresswell's low cross on the half-turn to leave the Potters in a perilous position.
FULL-TIME: WEST HAM 1-1 STOKE CITY.

90'
Aaron Cresswell fires in a driven cross which Carroll catches on the volley to bring West Ham level.
90'
GOAL! He has been on for barely five minutes and Andy Carroll has broke the hearts of the Stoke fans with a brilliant left-footed volley from inside the edge of the box into the bottom-left corner, following a pacy cross from Cresswell.
89'
The corner is taken short but West Ham can't find a way into the box. They are forced to work back to the half way line. Stoke have everyone behind the ball now.
88'
West Ham have a free kick on the right of the box. It is whipped in by Cresswell and headed out of play at the front post by Crouch. West Ham corner.
87'
Mame Biram Diouf is replaced by Stephen Ireland as Stoke look to stem the West Ham attack.

João Mário is replaced by Andy Carroll for West Ham's final change of the night. Kitchen sink time for the Hammers?
85'
Cheikhou Kouyaté is booked for a foul on Shaqiri.
85'
West Ham are piling bodies forward as they desperately search for an equaliser. Stoke are just over five minutes away from a huge three points in their bid for survival.
82'
Bruno Martins Indi is booked for a foul on Chicharito.
81'
West Ham's second change sees Arthur Masuaku come off for the creative influence of Manuel Lanzini.
79'
Peter Crouch is booked for excessive celebration after running to the away fans to celebrate his goal.
79'
GOAL! Shaqiri fires a low effort from the edge of the box straight at Hart. The England international spills the ball and Peter Crouch reacts immediately to smash the ball into the top corner and send the away fans wild. Poor from Hart but excellent reactions from the veteran Englishman.
76'
Edimilson Fernandes makes way for Javier Hernández in West Ham's first change of the evening. West Ham are going for all three points.
74'
Cresswell takes again and this time whips a cross towards the back post. It is just over the head of Kouyate though and out for a goal kick.
73'
Cresswell takes the free kick but it is straight into the wall. Noble latches onto the loose ball and races towards the box but he is brought down for another West Ham free kick.
72'
Mario is brought down outside the Stoke box by Cameron. A good shooting opportunity for West Ham here, very central.
70'
Very much an attacking change for Stoke as Moritz Bauer makes way for Peter Crouch.
69'
The Hammers' fans continue to roar their support for David Moyes' side, who certainly have had the better goalscoring opportunities in this game.
66'
West Ham have the ball in the back of the net once more as Edimilson Fernandes' low ranged shot finds the bottom-right corner, but the linesman once again flags for offside. Arnautovic was well behind the defensive line and was adjudged to have influenced the play, despite doing his best to avoid contact with the ball.
65'
Poor from West Ham. Mario plays a loose pass that goes straight to Cameron. The Stoke substitute races into the right of the box but is unable to find Shaqiri in the centre of the box.
64'
The corner is taken short, with Stoke clearing the eventual delivery for a throw in. West Ham try to work it back into the box again but it is easily defended by the Potters.
63'
Cresswell beats his marker to race into the left of the Stoke box, but his low cross across the face of goal is hammered clear by Shawcross. West Ham corner.
62'
Stoke make their first change of the game as Ramadan Sobhi is replaced by Geoff Cameron.
59'
Joao Mario turns into space away from Badou Ndiaye on the edge of the box but his attempted shot lacks any power. Easy claim for Hart.
56'
Excellent pace from Bauer as he bursts past Angelo Ogbonna and down the right channel. He finds Diouf with his pull-back but the Senegalese striker can only fire his first-time shot over the bar.
55'
Cresswell finds Arnautovic in the box after the striker drifts behind his marker. The Austrian heads it into the back of the net but the linesman had already flagged for offside. Warning signs are there for Stoke though, that looked far too easy for West Ham.
54'
Stoke have started this second half really well but are still lacking the final product to cause West Ham any problems.
48'
Much better from Stoke! good work down the left wing gives Erik Pieters space near the byline. He pulls it back to Shaqiri in the centre of the box but the winger fails to bring the ball under his control, allowing West Ham to clear.
47'
Stoke begin the second half exactly as they ended the first. They pressure West Ham into losing the ball and quickly break forward through Ramadan on the left wing. Some neat footwork allows him to turn away from Zabaleta on the edge of the box but his cross can only find the gloves of Hart.
46'
West Ham get the game back underway.
The players are heading back out onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
It is all square at the break and neither side have done enough to suggest they can go on and win this game. Marko Arnautovic came closest to scoring in a first half devoid of attacking quality, with his near post shot hitting the face of a motionless Jack Butland. Stoke have worked hard to press and contain the home attack but they have been limited to long range efforts when they do get forward. All to play for in the second half.
HALF-TIME: WEST HAM 0-0 STOKE CITY.
45'+1'
Noble has space around 30 yards from goal and unleashes a low drive towards the bottom-right corner. Too close to Butland though, who dives low to claim it.
45'
The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time. Neither side have looked likely to score in truth.
38'
Zabaleta tries a long throw into the box from the right wing but it can only reach the edge of the box. It is launched clear by a Stoke defender and towards Diouf. A slip by Cresswell allows Diouf to race onto it but the striker takes a heavy touch, allowing Declan Rice to mop up the danger.
36'
West Ham get a corner on the right after that shot but it is cleared away by Stoke. Masuaku tries his luck from range but it is wide of the mark.
35'
Ouch! Pablo Zabaleta does brilliantly to beat his marker to the byline and chest the ball into the path of Arnautovic. The striker fires it first time towards the near post and it is saved by the face of Butland, who was rooted to the spot.
33'
Chance! West Ham switch off in defence and a quick pass by Shaqiri frees Diouf up on the edge of the box. Cresswell reacts to the danger, forcing Diouf to rush his shot, firing low and straight at Hart. Better from Stoke, it is the first time they've really threatened this West Ham back line.
31'
West Ham have the first good chance of the game. A long ball over the top finds Joao Mario in space. He cuts back inside before slotting the ball into the box for Arnautovic but he can only drag his shot wide of the far post, under pressure from a defender.
29'
Stoke struggle to clear their lines from the corner and are saved by the whistle of the referee as Arnautovic is adjudged to have bundled over Shawcross.
28'
A muddle between Stoke defenders inside the box almost allows Arnautovic to nip in for a simple tap in. Zouma hammers it clear for a corner in the end.
24'
Excellent defending by Bruno Martins Indi. Shaqiri tries a through ball for the run of Diouf from a quick free kick and it is easily cut out by West Ham. Mark Noble launches a long ball towards Arnautovic which the Austrian gets to first but a heavy touch allows Martins Indi to catch him up and delay the attack long enough to stop the attack.
20'
West Ham are getting forward frequently at the moment but their final pass is poor. Arnautovic shows his frustration with his team mates as he angrily gestures to his feet after chasing another lost cause.
17'
West Ham free kick in a similar position to Stoke's. Aaron Cresswell tries to find the near post with a driven shot but it is palmed out for a corner by Butland. The corner is whipped in from the right but it is easily cleared by Stoke.
15'
Stoke have a free kick on the left of the box. It is whipped in by Shaqiri, finding Ryan Shawcross at the back-post. The defender can only head into a defender though and West Ham clear it wide. It is fired back into the box but Diouf's header is weak and straight at Hart. Stoke on top at the moment.
11'
Stoke have recovered from that early pressure from West Ham and are not giving the home side any time on the ball now. They force West Ham into a mistake in their own half and quickly get forward. Shaqiri slides the ball wide for Moritz Bauer inside the right of the box but his low shot is easily covered by Hart.
8'
It is end to end stuff at the moment but the final product is lacking a little from both sides. Neither goalkeeper has really been tested yet other than a couple of comfortable stops.
4'
Stoke quickly charged up the other end after that West Ham attack but Ramadan could only fire his shot directly at Hart from around 25 yards from goal.
3'
West Ham enjoy possession early on with their fans cheering and roaring at every successful pass. Their attacking move ends as Arthur Masuaku tries to find Arnautovic at the front post from the left of the box but it is well cut out by Jack Butland.
1'
Stoke get the game underway. The home fans are making plenty of noise already.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Kurt Zouma replaces Glen Johnson in Stoke’s only change from the side that lost 2-1 to Tottenham last weekend. Mame Biram Diouf will lead the line for the Potters with Ramadan Sobhi and Xherdan Shaqiri operating on each wing in a 3-4-3 formation.
West Ham stick with the same side that salvaged a 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend. Marko Arnautovic will lead the line for the Hammers and Joe Hart retains his place in goal after an impressive performance against the Blues. Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini make the bench.
Stoke City substitutes: Ireland, Cameron, Fletcher, Crouch, Grant, Campbell, Sernson.
Stoke City XI (3-4-3): Butland; Shawcross, Zouma, Martins Indi; Bauer, Ndiaye, Allen, Pieters; Shaqiri, Diouf, Ramadan.
West Ham substitutes: Carroll, Lanzini, Hugill, Adrian, Chicharito, Evra, Cullen.
West Ham XI (3-4-3): Hart; Rice, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Zabaleta, Noble, Kouyate, Masuaku; Fernandes, Arnautovic, Mario.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
With relegation rivals Crystal Palace and Swansea City still to play, Stoke’s fate remains in their own hands; but they have won only six games all season, with the worst defensive record in the division after conceding 63 goals. Only Southampton and West Brom have won fewer games than the Potters and with the sides above them hitting form at the right time, it is hard to see them escaping the drop.
Unfortunately for Stoke, they do not have the luxury of comfort as the Premier League approaches its conclusion. The Potters are six points adrift of safety with only 15 left to play for and anything other than a victory at the London Stadium would see them on the brink of ending their 10 consecutive season stay in the top-flight.
A defeat today could move them only four points away from relegation with Arsenal and both Manchester clubs still to play in their remaining fixtures.
West Ham could complete their first double over Stoke since the Potters’ first Premier League season in 2008-09. David Moyes’ side have slowly moved away from relegation trouble in recent weeks and are six points above Southampton in 18th, but it does not mean the Hammers are out of trouble just yet.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Premier League game between West Ham and Stoke City at the London Stadium.
