Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp have tipped Manchester United to claim the final Champions League spot this season ahead of Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham.

United’s 1-0 win over the Hammers on Saturday saw them overtake David Moyes' side in fourth place, their highest league position since October.

Spurs and Arsenal both spurned chances end the weekend in the top four, the Gunners were left frustrated by a goalless draw at home to Burnley and Antonio Conte's side lost 2-0 at Chelsea.

During their post match analysis of Spurs’ defeat at Stamford Bridge, Redknapp and Keane concurred that Ralf Rangnick's side are now in pole position to secure a top four finish along with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

"I think Manchester United are the favourites, I do," Redknapp told Sky Sports.

"I think Arsenal seem to be running out of steam. Poor result in midweek [against Liverpool], poor result against Burnley.

"But Tottenham with those games in hand as well, if they can get a couple of players in then they’re going to be in the mix.

"But put it this way if Manchester United with their squad should finish in the top four. If they don’t then that’s another poor season for them.

"They finished second last year and they’ve got to finish in the top four."

When Keane was asked if United were the outstanding candidates to finish fourth, he replied simply: "Without a doubt. Strength in depth."

Despite Sunday’s defeat to Thomas Tuchel’s side, Spurs are still handily placed to overtake United as they’re only two points behind and have two games in hand.

The Lilywhites are currently seventh behind London rivals Arsenal and West Ham.
