UK banks could issue stablecoins that are then listed on crypto exchanges', claims Fireblocks CBDC director

On this week's episode of The Crypto Mile our host Brian McGleenon speaks to Varun Paul, Former Head of Fintech at the Bank of England and now Director of CBDCs and Market Infrastructure at Fireblocks. He tells Yahoo Finance that the UK's digital finance infrastructure is evolving to "take the lead globally", adding that banks could soon begin issuing stablecoins that could then be listed on crypto-exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase.
