Saint-Etienne midfielder Ole Selnaes has reportedly emerged as a target for West Ham United.

Accoridng to claims from French news outlet Peuple Vert, the 24-year-old is being courted by a number of clubs this month following an impressive start to the season.

Selnaes is a key player for his side and has started in 16 Ligue 1 games this term for Saint-Etienne.

The Hammers are understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the January transfer window as Manuel Pellegrini aims to add to his injury-stricken first-team squad.

However, if they are to complete a deal for the Norway international, it seems Saint-Etienne will not allow their star man to leave cheaply.

It is claimed by Peuple Vert that the French club have fixed Selnaes’ valuation at €20 million as they attempt to fend off potential suitors for the versatile midfielder this month.

The former Rosenborg star is also reportedly being courted by Brighton and Hove Albion and Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.
