Crystal Palace and Fulham lock horns in a London derby this afternoon.

Palace’s smash-and-grab M23 derby win at Brighton on Monday night delivered a much-needed three points for Roy Hodgson amid question marks over his future this summer.

The win was especially timely given Fulham’s recent fine form sparking hopes of surviving a Premier League relegation battle, with Scott Parker’s men unbeaten in their last four games.

Fulham sit on 22 points - three off safety - and a win could lift them out of the drop zone this weekend. As for Palace, who sit 13th on 32 points, victory would allow them to stop looking over their shoulders and able to start targeting a top-10 finish.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Crystal Palace vs Fulham is scheduled for a 12pm GMT kick-off on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

The match will be held behind closed doors at Selhurst Park due to coronavirus restrictions.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham team news

Nathaniel Clyne will miss out for Palace a minor muscle injury. Wilfried Zaha returned to light training on Friday and Palace boss Roy Hodgson is optimistic the Ivory Coast forward could be available at some point next week after missing the last three games with a hamstring problem.

Jeffrey Schlupp and Connor Wickham were also in the early part of training on Friday, but the match against the Cottagers comes too soon. James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho and James McArthur are among the other absentees.

Palace provisional squad: Guaita, Kouyate, Dann, Van Aanholt, Ayew, Milivojevic, Riedewald, McCarthy, Eze, Benteke, Batshuayi, Butland, Ward, Townsend, Mateta, Cahill, Mitchell, Kelly.

Fulham will have Aleksandar Mitrovic available again for the trip across London. The Serbia striker tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of Fulham's surprise 2-0 win at Everton, but has returned to training following a period of self-isolation although Scott Parker said he would be assessed ahead of the game.
