Here are the latest Swansea City transfer news and updates for Friday, January 22.

Arsenal end Woodman interest - for now

Arsenal have seemingly ended their interest in Swansea City's Freddie Woodman, after completing a loan move for Brighton shot-stopper Maty Ryan.

The Australian has completed a loan to the Emirates until the end of the season, after seemingly falling out of favour with Seagulls boss Graham Potter.

After completing his move to North London, he said: "I'm very eager and keen to be here and get to work and start creating some nice memories through being successful.”

The move has surely ended any lingering suggestion of the Gunners making a move for Woodman, who recently signed a new deal at parent club Newcastle due to his sparkling form for the Swans.

However, sources in North London have always maintained that if the the club were to move for the youngster, it would most likely be in the summer.

Woodman has so far kept 14 clean sheets in 23 Championship matches, the best of any keeper in the division.

Jordan Morris completes loan move

Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris has completed a loan move to Swansea City.

The 26-year old will stay at the Liberty Stadium until the end of the season, although there is an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Swansea will not pay a loan fee for the forward, but are set to pay a significant proportion of his wages.

Morris becomes the club's third signing of the January transfer window following the acquisitions of goalkeeper Ben Hamer from Huddersfield Town and midfielder Conor Hourihane from Aston Villa.

However, he has not signed on in time to be given a run out for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest.

Morris has netted 34 goals for the Sounders in 102 MLS appearances, and has previously been linked with a move to Europe before.

Randall set to stay at Exeter

Exeter City boss Matt Taylor says he expects Joel Randall to stay at the club this month.

The young winger has been linked with a number of clubs recently, including Swansea, Celtic and Charlton Athletic.

According to DevonLive, the club have already had two bids believed to be in the region of £300,000 rejected.

Taylor says he fully understands the level of interest in the 21-year old, but says that unless a club meets their valuation of the player, which is believed to be around £300,000, he will not be leaving in this transfer window.

“Joel is still our player and I expect him to be our player at the end of the window,” Taylor said.

“There has been interest but we have a certain valuation for Joel and one that reflects what he has done this season and what he will do in the future as we know he will be a top, top, player but I expect him to be our player unless something very worthwhile comes in."

Swansea keen on Ruddock

Meanwhile, Swansea are reportedly set to compete with West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City in the race to sign Luton Town's Pelly Ruddock.

That's according to Football Insider, who claim that the midfielder could well be on the move this winter.

The 26-year old is currently in the last six months of his contract with the Hatters, who may well be tempted to cash in rather than risk losing him on a free in the summer.

Ruddock has missed just two Championship games for Luton this season, and has made 67 appearances in the second tier over the last two seasons.
