Does looking at these pictures of the world’s longest suspension footbridge leave you feeling woozy?

Sky Bridge 721 hangs above the Czech Republic’s Dolní Morava Resort in East Bohemia, in the foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains.

At 721 metres (2365ft), it is the longest suspension footbridge in the world, and hangs at an altitude of 3,724ft above sea level.

The Sky Bridge promises a ‘unique experience offering visitors a breath-taking spectacle and an adrenaline rush’ as they walk up to 312ft above the ground.

The bridge will welcome its first visitors next month, but it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

Needless to say, the attraction’s website stresses that it’s not suitable for anyone who’s afraid of heights.

It is surrounded by the ‘picturesque nature of Kralicky Sneznik mountain’ around 124 miles east of Prague.

The suspension footbridge is just a few metres away from the popular Sky Walk – a 180ft high spiral wooden walkway.

It spans the Mlynsky Stream valley from the ridge of Slamnik Mountain to the ridge of Chlum Mountain. Visitors will step onto the bridge at an altitude of 3,691ft above sea level and off it at 3,724ft.

After crossing the valley, visitors will get to learn more about local nature and history via a 1.2-mile long educational nature trail called ‘The Bridge of Time’, including augmented reality features.

Sky Bridge 721 is at least 200 metres longer than the world’s previous record-holder, in Arouca, Portugal.
