
Petr Pavel: 'It is in our own vital interest to support Ukraine'
Czech President-elect Petr Pavel has told DW that NATO countries should seriously consider sending fighter jets to Ukraine. Mr. Pavel, a retired general and the former chairman of NATO's Military Committee, won a sweeping victory in Prague last weekend, defeating the populist billionaire and ex-Prime Minister Andrej Babis in a runoff election.
