Close shave as out-of-control car narrowly avoids old man

An old man narrowly escaped being crashed into by an out-of-control car smashing onto a pavement in southern China. The terrifying video, filmed in Suining City in Sichuan Province on January 7, shows a car suddenly rushing onto a pavement and stopping right beside an elderly man, standing in front of a shop and seemingly unmoved by his near-death experience. According to reports, five people were injured and sent to hospital for treatment while eight vehicles were damaged. The car driver was arrested and the case was being investigated by police.
