Figure skater comes out about sexual abuse

In a Facebook post, former figure skater Bridget Namiotka stated that her partner John Coughlin sexual abused her for two years while they skated together from 2004-2007. After three individuals accused Coughlin of sexual misconduct in January 2019, he committed suicide one day after being suspended by the U.S. Center for SafeSport over the allegations. Due to Coughlin taking his own life, the investigation by the U.S. Center of SafeSport effectively came to an end. Namiotka’s lawyer John Manly confirmed that the posts were indeed from 29-year-old figure skater. RT America’s Steve Christakos joins Scottie Nell Hughes to discuss.
