Hilarious footage shows wedding photographer shove step-mum out of the way when she tries to interfere with ‘first kiss’ shots

By Charlotte Regen This hilarious footage shows a wedding photographer shoving a newlywed’s step-mum out of the way when she tried to take her own photo of the couple’s first kiss. As Josh and Lorna Gantt went to seal their marriage with a kiss, their wedding photographer Ashley Easterling ran to attention, making sure she didn’t miss the key shot. However upon reaching the couple, the newlywed’s step-mum was already trying to take her own picture of the moment on her mobile phone. Desperate not to miss the shot, the photographer then proceeds to shove the unsuspecting step-mum out of the way. Despite the footage appearing shocking, wedding guests congratulated the photographer on doing her job properly and want to show people how easy it can be for professionals to miss certain magic moments. Trenton Ray Hensley captured the footage, which has since gone viral, whilst at the wedding in Kentucky, USA, last month [September 8]. Trenton said: "The step-mum got out of her seat to take photos of the bride and groom but kept getting in the photographers way. "So the photographer finally shoved her out of the way with a grand shoulder bump. "I was shocked, but also proud of the photographer as she was paid good money to get those shots – not the step-mum. "No one else blocked her shots for the rest of the evening – they all just rallied around the photographer in fascination that she handled the situation so well to do her job. "We want guests to see how easy it can be for a photographer to miss a shot because we try to play amateur photographer at weddings and many other events. "If you’re at an event and see a paid photographer please keep in mind your phone won’t get a better shot than what their camera will. "Remember they’ve been paid to do a job, not us."
