What did you see?

This video shows how it can be difficult to spot a biker when you're at a junction. It has no audio. Find out more about why this video has been created at https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-videos-to-help-learner-drivers-improve-motorcyclist-awareness. Always look out for them before you emerge from a junction; they could be approaching faster than you think. When turning right across a line of slow-moving or stationary traffic, look out for cyclists or motorcyclists on the inside of the traffic you are crossing. Be especially careful when turning, and when changing direction or lane. Be sure to check mirrors and blind spots carefully. The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) improves road safety in Great Britain by setting standards for driving and motorcycling, and making sure drivers, vehicle operators and MOT garages understand and follow roadworthiness standards. We also provide a range of licensing, testing, education and enforcement services. DVSA is an executive agency of the Department for Transport. © Crown copyright, Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency This video is protected by Crown copyright, and the Standard YouTube Licence.
