Thousands of NHS workers gather outside the BBC to oppose mandatory vaccination
Thousands of people, many of them workers in the UK's National Health Service, gathered at the BBC's London headquarters to rally against mandatory vaccination. NHS workers are required to be fully vaccinated by April. The need for a delay between jabs mean the process of firing what could be more than 70,000 as-yet unvaccinated staff could begin on 3 February. The crowd outside the BBC included both those concerned about the civil liberty implications of mandates and so-called anti-vaxxers, who believe debunked claims about the science and safety of vaccines.
