Workers clear debris from train accident which killed 9 people in NW India
Workers on Friday (14 January) started to clear away the wreckage from a massive railway accident in India on Thursday 13. Twelve coaches of the Guwahati-bound Bikaner Express derailed near Maynaguri town in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district, killing at least nine and injuring scores more. A high-level inquiry by the Commission of Railway Safety has been ordered. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav reached the accident site Friday morning.
