Move over Normal People — Ruth Langsford and Denise Van Outen appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox and left viewers scarlet with their racy remarks.

The duo appeared alongside their partners on the show and it was Ruth who set the tone for the evening while watching a documentary about sex during the lockdown.

The TV host, 60, couldn’t resist reminiscing about how she used to climb on top of her gran’s washing machine for pleasure leaving fans and her hubby mortified.

‘My gran had the old-style spin dryer that moved around quite quickly, you had to sit on it to keep it still and it was quite fun,’ she teased. A shocked Eamonn asked if her gran knew what she was using her washing machine for and her reply has floored us. She told Eamonn: ‘We used to sit on it together!’

Fans quickly shared their thoughts on Ruth’s remarks on Twitter. ‘Ruth!! OMG I screamed, get your dryer life,’ said one while another commented: ‘@Eamonn Holmes and Ruth are brilliant, I’ll never look at her the same way after her spin washer story.’

A third wrote: ‘Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ruth Langsford more.’

Then it was Denise’s turn to raise the blushes.

The blonde beauty made some choice remarks about her boyfriend Eddie Boxshall’s manhood while reaching for the popcorn.

‘It makes a change to pick something up from that area that’ll fill me up!’ she joked. Eddie fired back that she could reach down to the bottom of the bowl if she wanted.

She followed that up with another racy remark later in the show where she told him to ‘lick his own balls’ if he wanted to act like a dog and viewers didn’t know where to look.

‘Ahh Denise Van Outen with the best quote ever on Celebrity Gogglebox,’ remarked one fan. Rounding out a night of raunchy comments was Martin Kemp who joked about fancying the Queen.

He told his shocked son Roman, ‘When she was younger she was fit, she looked a lot like my mum,’ and we’ll just leave that there.
