Cozy movie nights with the family never get old. What does lose its appeal is watching the same flicks over and over again (just ask the parents). Just a glimpse of films from the past makes you realize that you’re probably missing quite a few underappreciated classics that more than deserve their share of time in the spotlight—or at least a handful of viewings on your personal big screen.
We’ve rounded up some of our fam-friendly favourites that are at least a decade old, but that sadly never got the love they more than earned. With oldies like James and the Giant Peach, Treasure Planet, and Anastasia, among others, you may stumble upon a few familiar titles from yesteryear that you’d forgotten.
