It's been a long time since we were glued to season two, but fans can now relax as season three is just around the corner and you won't be disappointed.

Jack Ryan, played by John Krasinski is back with more action, you can be guaranteed more explosions, and this time the Russians are concocting a plan.

There will be some familiar faces popping up and new ones brought into the mix as the drama unfolds.

Make a mark in your diary and tell everyone not to disturb you on Wednesday, December 21st as season three will drop on Amazon Prime Video and there will be eight episodes to enjoy. It will be one to binge-watch.

Jack's former partner James Greer won't be by Jack's side but don't worry he will feature. After his heart problems in the last series, it looks like he will be stepping back from all the action.

So, with that Jack will need a new partner but whom will it be? (Don't worry we won't be giving away all the secrets.)

However, when it comes to new cast members make sure to keep your eyes peeled for James Cosmo. Many of you may remember him from Game of Thrones as Luca. For those a little bit older, he played Campbell in Braveheart.

Also new to the scene is English actor Peter Guinness from the TV show Cursed and Nina Hoss from Homeland.
