If ever there was a time to lay the ongoing Peltz-Beckham drama to rest it was at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show but despite putting on a united front, attendees noticed a chill in the air.

The once close-knit family has been dogged with stories of a falling out over Brooklyn's new wife Nicola not wearing one of Victoria's designs on her big day which appears to have snowballed into an all-out feud.

Now, finally, and after an alleged telling-off from David, it seems that the Beckhams and the newly christened Peltz-Beckhams want to lay the matter to rest.

Nicola and Brooklyn arrived at the show which was hosted in the atmospheric 17-century church and monastery of Val-de-Grace in the city's fifth arrondissement around half an hour before the show started, and were seated a few seats away from the rest of the family.

The couple has been making a splash throughout this year's festival judging by their social media where they can be seen making the most of their trip while wearing Balmain.

Sure enough, all eyes landed on the couple when the newlyweds and the rest of the Beckhams descended on the show.

Tellingly, even 11-year-old Harper was dressed in her mum's designs while Cruz who seemed hell-bent on pulling off a pair of plastic trousers arrived with his girlfriend

There was a warm hug for Brooklyn from Romeo who bounded straight over to his big brother but David hung back a little, choosing instead to greet Anna Wintour.

The Mail reports that it appeared briefly as if the ex-footballer was about to snub the couple who by all accounts looked like naughty school children after getting a telling-off.

However, he eventually walked over to his eldest son and gave him a huge bear hug letting onlookers know once and for all that all was fine within in the family.

Or rather it would have been if his greeting to his new daughter-in-law had been equally friendly. It's been reported that Nicola was greeted with a curt hello which, if accurate, would suggest that there are still some hard feelings.

As she was being clapped out at the end of the show, a tearful Victoria made a beeline for her husband for a hug and also gave one to pal Eva Longoria but there was no show of emotion for anyone else.

In fact, it appeared that there was no further interaction between the two families for the duration of the show.

Their fashion week appearance came after the usually mild-manned David allegedly read his eldest son the riot act after Nicola spoke to Grazia about the drama surrounding her wedding dress.

The bride had taken flack for her multiple outfit changes over the course of their wedding weekend but for choosing not to wear any of Victoria's designs.

She explained that she had planned for her future mother-in-law to design the dress but indicated that she had backed out of the deal and even hinted that the former Spice Girl had 'blanked' her.

David subsequently had it out with him and according to a source told him “We don’t do this in our family".
