The 15-year-old was stabbed in the Deans Walk area of Lurgan, Co Armagh at around 9pm last night.

She received treatment at the scene before being brought to Craigavon Area Hospital.

A PSNI spokesperson said this morning: "She is in critical condition in hospital.

"Another teenager is helping police with inquiries."

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 and quote serial number 1499 of 19/04/19.
