Britain’s Got Talent viewers are convinced they know who the mysterious masked magician is.

On Saturday night’s show, a black hooded figure appeared on the stage wearing a white mask.

The person stood in silence as judge Simon Cowell tried to talk to them.

The magician’s eerie act began with a video message which said ‘humans have disconnected’ in recent years.

However, they wanted the show that some humans do have a connection, in particular two people that have an undeniable bond.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly knew who the magician was talking about, with Ant turning to Dec and saying: ‘That’s us.’

The pair happily joined the magician on stage, who had them sit either side of them and asked them to close their eyes.

The audience were amazed by the act, who would touch just one of the hosts yet both Ant and Dec would raise their hand to say they felt it including where the felt it.

The whole room was even more in shock by the end of the incredible act, with even Simon’s jaw dropping to the floor.

Following their performance, viewers at home took to Twitter with some interesting theories.

They believe the masked magician could be creepy performer Elizabeth from last weekend’s show.

One fan asked: ‘This the same woman back from last week?’

‘It’s that woman from last week wearing a mask She said she’d be back and it wasn’t over,’ added another.

A third said: ‘It will be the woman from last week.’

Elizabeth terrified judge Amanda Holden during the series opener.

She transformed herself into a woman who died over 100 years ago in front of her eyes.

Viewers were baffled when she promised to return — but never did.

Following her performance, she told them ominously: ‘The night’s not over yet.’

Like with the masked magician, Elizabeth dressed in all black with a hood and used video as part of her act.

Before the masked magician’s act, Ant cracked a joke about their identity as he watched from the sidelines.

Stunned Dec pulled a face after Ant’s joke about his wife, Ali Astall, before the magician performed.

He said: ‘Imagine at the end they take off the mask and it’s someone we know. Like your wife.’

Dec was shocked, but laughed as he said: ‘Now that would be a shock.’

Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturday at 8pm on Virgin Media One.
