Bollywood superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were the first guests on Karan Johar's 'Koffee with Karan' as the talk show returned for its seventh season today.

During the episode, Ranveer spilled the beans on his married life with actress Deepika Padukone and spoke candidly about his equation with his in-laws.

Ranveer revealed that Deepika's parents were stumped when she first introduced him to them as her boyfriend. "Initially, they were completely thrown away like who is this, what is this? Especially Deepika’s mom. She did not know what to make of me, honestly."

He, however, added that they all have been together for 10 years now, and he is very much a part of the Padukone family. "We took time to warm up to each other but now she is like my mom," he said.

Ranveer, who is known for his quirky, and sometimes over-the-top fashion sense, also mentioned how he has been maintaining two wardrobes ever since he got married, leaving Karan and Alia in splits.

"I have two wardrobes now. When I go to Bangalore, there is a special wardrobe- white t-shirt and blue jeans. I don’t want to throw them off," he said.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in November 2018 after dating for over six years. The duo met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela' and that is when sparks flew between the two.

They went on to star in two more films with the ace director, and along with their professional careers, their relationship also grew stronger.

On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' with Alia Bhatt. He also has Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus' and the remake of Tamil film 'Anniyan' in the pipeline.
