We cannot keep calm, for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have just announced that they have become proud parents to a baby! On January 21, Priyanka and Nick announced the news on social media and revealed that they had opted for surrogacy.

As per reports in US Weekly, it is a baby girl! While congratulatory messages are pouring in for the new parents on Twitter and from their industry friends - Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, and more - here's a look at other Bollywood celebrity couples who opted for surrogacy for childbirth.

Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan became proud parents to their youngest son AbRam in 2013 via surrogacy. The couple already has a son, Aryan, and a daughter, Suhana. Little AbRam is the apple of their eye and is just adored by big bro Aryan and sister Suhana.

Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao welcomed their son Azaad in 2011 through IVF. The Laal Singh Chaddha actor has also encouraged couples to try IVF and surrogacy, in a way to destigmatise the process.

Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra welcomed a baby girl, their second child together, Samisha, in 2020 through surrogacy. The actress, who is extremely active on social media, loves to share updates about her little daughter. Isn't she the most adorable thing?

Preity Zinta-Gene Goodenough

Preity Zinta and her husband, Gene Goodenough, became parents to twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough via surrogacy. Preity shared the good news in November 2021. Though the actress hasn't shared a glimpse of her babies yet, she recently shared a snap where she is seen snuggling one of her twins. "Mommy vibes (sic)," she wrote.

Farah Khan-Shirish Kunder

Farah Khan was 43 when she had her triplets in February 2008 with husband Shirish Kunder. Since then, the choreographer-turned-filmmaker has spoken extensively about how surrogacy can be miraculous for couples trying to have babies. Farah had said, "IVF is a blessing and I am really thankful as it has changed my life. A lot of factors today make it difficult for some couples to conceive, but we have solutions in the form of treatments."

Karan Johar

Karan Johar welcomed Yash and Roohi into his life after the director-producer opted for surrogacy. The twins were born in February 2017 and are now an integral part of his life, and if we may, his social media! Karan Johar has admitted on several occasions that becoming a father has changed his life. He is a single father, and his mother, Hiroo Johar, helped him bring up Yash and Roohi.

Tusshar Kapoor

Tusshar is also a single father. He welcomed his baby boy Laksshya via surrogacy in June 2016. Laksshya is the first grandchild of Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor.

Ekta Kapoor

Following in Tusshar's footsteps, producer Ekta Kapoor became a single mother to her son Ravie in January 2019, via surrogacy. She is also a doting aunt to Lakshya. Now that's one big happy family, no?
