George Clooney recently opened up about the time when he showed up drunk to a set!  The 59-year-old Oscar award winner spoke with Michelle Pfeiffer for Variety Studio: Actors on Actors. The two are also co-stars from the 1996 film One Fine Day, a film which follows the two stars as Melanie and Jack, busy single parents who are forced together by fate.

Recalling a scene they shot together, in which George had to be drunk, the star admitted that he went out and had a “few vodkas” with his longtime pal, Rande Gerber, the night before. While he admitted that he didn’t remember if they were shooting that scene the next day, and got drunk with a pal, he added that ultimately it helped him as in the scene he had to be drunk.

Talking more about the film, George reflected that while the film didn’t do so well initially when it released back in 1996, now the tables have turned and people are liking it. George even confessed that his wife Amal Clooney and her friends couldn’t believe that One Fine Day wasn’t a big hit, since they loved it.

George even suggested that now it’s become such a big hit that he thinks they should do a sequel to the film. The actor called it “An Older Fine Day,” where the kids are all grown up now. To which Michelle joked and replied: “It could be called I’m Tired Today.”
