We do take in dals and vegetables but it is also important to eat nuts like walnuts every day.

It is as important as almonds every day so why skip on other nuts? Here are some easy ways in which you can add them to your diet. 

Walnuts have fiber, omega-3, antioxidants, and proteins and taste good as well so here are some options on how you can add them to your diet.

All In A Bowl

Make a power bowl at home and carry it to office or keep it by your side at home. It is like a one-pot meal with fish and avocado. Just add toasted walnuts to this bowl which offers the perfect amount of flavour and crunch alongside grains, leafy greens and veggies.

Pesto Spread

Have aioli pesto as a spread on your breads or crackers wherein you just have to toss some walnuts into a food processor with a bit of olive oil and mayo for that with arugula or basil and olive oil or mayo for a quick walnut aioli or pesto.

If you love snacking a lot then take to seasoned walnuts for a quick pick-me-up. Just toss them in rosemary, honey, extra virgin olive oil, cayenne pepper or a bit of maple syrup which would make for a yummy homemade snack.
