Pesky acne has always been a lingering problem for most people. Lurking around during puberty and later triggered by various factors, acne can be tough for someone who undergoes it. Whether it's the weather, the sun, the pollution or different kinds of food, oily skin and acne have to be tackled gently and with care.

Amid marketing gimmicks and beauty regimes, TV actress Juhi Parmar shared a simple hack right from her kitchen. One needs just two ingredients that are easily available in the house and can be added to your beauty routine.

On Instagram, Juhi, who loves posting reels about life, shared a clip in which she took half a tomato and added a dollop of honey to the inner part of the fruit. She then rubbed it on her cleansed face for 3-5 minutes. "For best results, do it daily," a little message on her video read.

In the caption, Juhi talked about this simple trick to tackle acne, pimples, dark spots and oily skin.

"Various skin challenges and one simple remedy right from the kitchen with tomatoes and honey. I love pampering myself on Sunday and giving myself that extra time, so should you," she wrote.

When applied to the skin, honey hydrates and moisturises it without causing any allergies. It is a natural exfoliator, which means, it effectively removes dead skin cells and promotes smooth cell turnover, leaving the skin supple and clean. It is also useful for sunburns.

Tomato is known to get rid of acne and cleanse the pores. Just like honey, tomatoes may help to relieve sunburns and give your skin a natural glow.
