The resort's architecture consists of 450 hand-stone columns, domes in gold leaf, and white marble all over as it stretches out 50 acres looking out to Lake Pichola. The cost is about $8,000 per night for an unforgettable celebration.

2. One & Only Reethi Rah Resort, the Maldives

Sitting pretty on a 109-acre island with a beautiful backdrop, this resort provides a private hideaway for the wedding and reception of a lifetime.

The Reethi Rah has 130 private villas with a private pool for each and offers a wedding package plus extra arrangements including personalized menus, private dining, music, and couple spa with beauty treatments exclusively hired by the resort. Booking this resort for your big day costs about $7,000 a night.

3. Hotel Caruso, Ravello, Italy:

With a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast, this 11th-century palace is a romantic location for your nuptials, recommended by Josh Brooks of Fete New York Events. You can choose between a ballroom reception with a four-course dinner and a poolside ceremony with cocktails. 4. Chateaux Vaux-le-Vicomte, Maincy, France:

Easton and Rebecca Marin of Nouveau Romantics both recommend this historical 17th century French chateau set amongst a 1,200-acre park, which is only available for a five-hour rental. The chateau contains beautiful 17th-century-style gardens for walking down the aisle, ballrooms filled with intricate architecture, furniture, and candles. For a ceremony or reception fit for a queen, the cost will be about $60,000.

5. Little Palm Island, Key West, Florida:

In this intimate location, you are able to reserve the entire island exclusively. Ceremonies are available on the sand, at the end of Sunset Dock or any other place on the island of your choosing. The island only hosts one wedding per day to give you the undivided attention you deserve on your big day. Up to 60 guests are allowed when you rent the entire island and children must be 16 or older. Wedding packages start at $175,000 requiring a three-night stay and subject to a 22% service fee.

6. Musha Cay, Bahamas:

Set amongst the Islands of Copperfield Bay, Musha Cay is home to 700 acres of pure paradise. Known as one of the most secluded spots on earth, this venue is the perfect place for a private ceremony. An intimate 24 guests are all that's allowed in your party with a five-night minimum stay. Wedding packages cost about $260,000.

Located in the banks of the Dwars River in the Banhoek Valley is the MolenVliet Wine Estate, rated one of the top wedding destination venues in the world and suggested by Easton and Marin. Whether you choose the incredible landscaped gardens or the middle of the Vineyards, the estate does not fail in hosting a beautiful wedding location. The standard wedding package is 14 guests for three nights and costs about $10,000.

9. Pelican Hill, Newport Beach, California:

Pelican Hill is a lavish 5 star resort to hold your wedding, says Easton. Located along the Newport Beach coast, the resort does not offer set wedding packages because each wedding is customized to your preferences. Only one wedding is held per day at the beautiful Mar Vista venue, though other venue options are available. Additional services also offered are a complimentary bungalow for the bride and groom, wedding butler, choice of menu, and spa packages available to brides in a private Spa Suite. Weddings at Pelican Hill can reach up to $100,000.

For an outdoor romantic wedding, The Blackberry Farm in Tennessee is a diamond in the ruff. Located in the Smoky Mountains, the Farm creates a breathtaking view and backdrop for your ceremony.
