Vera Wang has been the go-to celebrity bridal designer for many years but she seems more in-demand than ever of late.

The fashion designer sure has been busy this July - both Insecure actress Issa Rae and singer Gwen Stefani got married this month wearing custom Vera Wang gowns, with them both tapping her to create looks for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Issa got married to her longtime partner Louis Diame in an intimate ceremony in the South of France on Sunday, and in photos shared on Instagram on Monday, the actress can be seen wearing a custom light ivory strapless sweetheart neckline ballgown with hand-placed Chantilly lace and hand-sewn crystal beading accompanied by a light ivory chapel-length veil.

For the reception, she changed into a plunging V-neck A-line gown with a layered tulle skirt.

Earlier this month, Hollaback Girl singer Gwen married country music star Blake Shelton in Oklahoma wearing a custom-made lily-white silk georgette and hand-tumbled tulle gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice and cutaway back.

She paired the dress with a lily-white chapel-length veil featuring her new husband's name as well as the names of her three sons - Kingston, Zuma and Apollo - hand-embroidered on the hem alongside two white roses.

For the reception, Gwen switched into a more alternative Wang look that harkened back to her rock star roots.

She wore a custom lily-white Italian silk crepe and hand-tumbled tulle strapless minidress with a fitted bodice and silk, crystal and sequin embroidered foliage trickling from the waist down the skirt.

Other recent clients of Wang include Ariana Grande, who wore a custom design for her home wedding to Dalton Gomez in May, and Hailey Bieber, who sported a Wang look for her wedding reception after she married Justin Bieber in 2019.
