As per the data from the United Nations (UN), Iran has arrested at least 14,000 people in a crackdown on the anti-hijab dissent including prominent journalists, filmmakers, lawyers and activists. Hundreds of protesters, including children, have been killed, while thousands of others have been arrested, human rights activists have claimed.
