Economic Survey 2023 Confirms Slowing Growth In 2022-23
The Economic Survey projects FY24 GDP growth at 6-6.8%, the lowest in three years on the back of macroeconomic challenges in the next fiscal. The survey also says that the rupee may come under pressure if CAD widens further and sees strong domestic demand amid high prices to raise import bills. Meanwhile, at the start of the Parliament's Budget session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Union Budget 2023 will aim to fulfill the aspirations and wishes of the common man.
